Job Title: Solution Architect Director - Application Security

About the Role:

We are seeking a seasoned Solution Architect Director with expertise in application security to lead our efforts in securing our software development lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead the development and implementation of application security strategies across the organization.
  • Mentor and guide cross-functional teams to integrate security best practices into their daily work.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to identify and prioritize security risks, and develop mitigation strategies.
  • Stay up-to-date with emerging threats and technologies, and provide guidance on how to address them.
  • Communicate complex security concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
Requirements:
  • Minimum 7 years of experience in a managerial or director role, with at least 2 years in application security.
  • Strong leadership skills, including program management, performance management, and team development/mentoring.
  • Experience with security testing automation and continuous improvement in the SDLC.
  • Knowledge of application security vulnerabilities (OWASP Top 10, SANS CWE Top 25) and prevention/migration processes.
  • Fluency in written and spoken English.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience scaling security testing automation and improvement cycles into the software development process.
  • Experience managing security programs in a global organization.
  • Familiarity with compliance standards and control catalogs (ISO 27000 series, NIST 800-53, PCI DSS).
