Robotics Expert Sought

Job Description:

  • We're looking for a highly skilled robotics expert to join our team and contribute to the development of advanced robotic systems.
  • The ideal candidate will have experience designing and optimizing motion planning and trajectory systems for robotic construction equipment.
  • Developing control systems for autonomous construction robots is another key responsibility.
  • You'll also be responsible for building and maintaining simulation environments to support system validation and iterative development.
  • Implementing sensor fusion algorithms for enhanced robot perception and real-time decision-making is a critical aspect of this role.
  • Leading the development of navigation and control algorithms for robotic systems is a key challenge we need help with.
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable and robust robotics solutions is essential.

Requirements:

  • Hold a Bachelor's/Master's (MS or PhD) in Robotics, Computer Science, AI/ML, or a related field.
  • 37 years of experience in Robotics, Manipulator Systems, Control Systems, Localization, Mapping, and Navigation is preferred.
  • A solid understanding of Motion Planning algorithms for 6DOF manipulators is required.
  • Strong foundation in control theory and algorithms relevant to robotic systems is essential.
  • Experience creating ROS2 drivers, with proficiency in MoveIt2 for manipulation and Nav2 for navigation is necessary.
  • Proficiency with simulation environments such as Isaac Sim, Gazebo, and RViz is expected.
  • Deep knowledge of control systems, including sensor fusion, Kalman filters, motion planning, and trajectory optimization is crucial.
  • Excellent programming skills in Python and C++, with strong familiarity in ROS2 is required.
  • Ability to thrive and take initiative in a fast-paced environment is vital.
