We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Senior ROS Engineer to join our robotics team.

The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of robotics software development using the Robot Operating System (ROS) as well as practical experience with unmanned ground vehicles (UGVs). You will play a crucial role in the development,testing, and deployment of advanced robotic systems.

Responsibilities:

- Design, develop, and maintain robotics applications using ROS (ROS2).

- Integrate and process data from various sensors such as LiDAR, cameras, and IMUs within ROS environments.

- Develop control systems for robotic operations, ensuring precise and reliable performance.

-Design and implement an architecture for autonomous navigation , behavior trees and decision-making frameworks

- Implement and optimize algorithms for local and global path planning.

- Test algorithms in both simulation tools (e.g., Gazebo, RViz,Nvidia Isaac sim) and real-world UGVs.

- Apply strong knowledge of robot kinematics, motion planning, and perception algorithms.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless system integration and deployment.

Skills and Requirements:

- Strong programming skills in C++ and Python, especially in the context of ROS 2 development.

- Hands-on experience with UGV platforms and robotics middleware.

- Expertise in local and global path planning techniques.

- Familiarity with robotic simulations tools like Gazebo and RViz.

- Strong understanding of robotics principles including kinematics and control systems.

- Experience working with embedded systems for robotics applications.

- Experience with Isaac Sim is a plus.

-Experience With Reinforcment learning for behaviour/autonomy tuning

- Minimum 5 years of industry experience or a Master's degree in a related field with at least 3 years of experience.
