About Mowito
At Mowito (mowito.ai), we're building Physical AI – intelligent models that control robot arms directly from sensor and camera data. Our robots learn from demonstrations, enabling no-code automation for highly dynamic manufacturing processes.
We work with Fortune 500 companies like Denso to deliver advanced robotic solutions for inspection and assembly in automotive factories, reducing deployment time and costs while expanding automation's reach to a broader range of manufacturers.
Role Overview
As a Senior Robotics Engineer, you'll design, develop, and deploy advanced robotic control systems for industrial robotic arms. You'll lead projects from concept to deployment — integrating AI-driven perception, planning, and control to solve complex automation challenges. You'll collaborate closely with our AI, hardware, and deployment teams to bring cutting-edge automation to real-world factories.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the design, development, and deployment of advanced robotic perception, planning, and control systems for high-DOF industrial arms.
- Own projects end-to-end — from requirements gathering, architecture, and algorithm design to deployment and ongoing optimization.
- Invent and implement novel algorithms that push the limits of robot intelligence, perception, and autonomy.
- Integrate AI and machine learning models into real-time robotic control pipelines (ROS2-based).
- Prototype, test, and validate solutions in both simulation and on physical robot systems.
- Collaborate with AI researchers, mechanical/electrical engineers, and deployment teams to ensure seamless integration.
- Optimize system performance for low latency, robustness, and industrial reliability.
- Mentor junior engineers and establish best practices for code quality, testing, and system reliability.
