Commercial Real Estate Asset Manager Position

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced commercial real estate professional to make a significant impact on the performance and success of our residential and commercial real estate portfolio.

The successful candidate will oversee and manage the day-to-day operations of the real estate portfolio, including office buildings, retail centers, industrial properties, and other commercial assets. Key responsibilities include coordinating and monitoring property maintenance activities, capital expenditures, and improvement projects to enhance property value and tenant experience.

The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, excellent follow-up skills, and excellent interpersonal skills to interact and engage tenants. They will also possess advanced knowledge of general and cost accounting and financial statements, as well as a creative and problem-solving mindset to resolve tenant billing issues.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee and manage the day-to-day operations of the real estate portfolio.
  • Coordinate and monitor property maintenance activities, capital expenditures, and improvement projects.
  • Manage third-party vendor payments and on-time mortgage payments.
  • Maintain and manage insurance coverage and manage insurance claims.

In addition to these key responsibilities, the successful candidate will be required to perform lease administration and tenant relations tasks, including collaborating with leasing teams to ensure lease compliance, accurate documentation, and timely renewal negotiations. They will also be responsible for tenant year-end reconciliations, annual budget preparation, and administrative support to executives.

We are seeking a highly motivated and organized individual who possesses a minimum of 3 years' professional experience in property management. The ideal candidate will have expert-level proficiency working with Yardi and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel) and advanced experience reading and interpreting leases and related documents as well as financial information contained in accounting software, spreadsheets, financial statements, etc.
