Job Title: Technical Leadership and People Management

Key Responsibilities
  • Technical Vision:
    • Develop scalable and secure healthcare claims processing systems, handling high volumes of transactions with ease.
    • Lead technical design reviews, making informed decisions on complex healthcare workflows.
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive technical strategy for claims adjudication, provider networks, and member management systems.
    • Ensure system reliability, performance, and security standards meet or exceed regulatory requirements.
  • Team Development:
    • Build and mentor a team of software engineers across multiple product areas.
    • Conduct regular one-on-ones, performance reviews, and career development planning to foster growth and excellence.
    • Recruit top engineering talent and build diverse, inclusive teams that thrive in a collaborative environment.
    • Manage team capacity, sprint planning, and delivery commitments to meet business objectives.
  • Strategic Partnerships:
    • Partner closely with Product, Data, and Operations teams to deliver features and services that meet customer needs.
    • Translate business requirements into technical specifications and implementation roadmaps, driving alignment and execution.
    • Communicate technical concepts and trade-offs to non-technical stakeholders, building trust and understanding.
Required Qualifications
  • 6+ years of software engineering experience, including 1+ year in engineering management.
  • Strong system design experience, including distributed systems, microservices, and event-driven architectures.
  • Hands-on coding experience and a track record of delivering high-quality code.
  • Experience with real-time processing systems, high-volume transaction processing, and large-scale system migrations.
  • Proven track record of scaling engineering teams, managing technical talent, and driving business results.
  • Deep knowledge of cloud platforms, databases, and modern engineering practices.
  • Experience with agile methodologies, continuous integration/deployment, and DevOps principles.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with healthcare standards (HL7, FHIR) and knowledge of healthcare claims workflows.
  • Knowledge of cloud-based systems, claims processing, and regulated industries.
