Responsibilities:

  • Provide timely and effective technical support to our business users, ensuring minimal downtime and optimal system performance.
  • Administer and support various systems, including Windows Server and Linux OS, to ensure smooth operation and continuity.
  • Document and track all tickets worked, including problem resolution, user satisfaction, and completion time.
  • Maintain and improve existing systems and processes within IT to ensure efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Collaborate with the wider group's Helpdesk function to deliver seamless support services.

Essential Skills:

  • Previous Helpdesk experience and strong technical skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and phone etiquette skills.
  • Enthusiasm for helping others and a willingness to learn and grow.
  • Excellent English speaking skills and fluency in written and spoken language.
  • Proficiency in Windows Server (all versions), Microsoft Exchange, and Linux OS.
  • Experience with remote support tools and technologies.
  • Knowledge of SQL and networking fundamentals, including DHCP and DNS.
  • Fortinet experience is desirable but not essential.
