Job Title: Information Technology Support Specialist

This role involves delivering timely support services to our global workforce. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical skills, excellent communication abilities and a collaborative mindset.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide prompt and efficient troubleshooting and resolution of technical issues.
  • Develop comprehensive documentation of installation procedures for software packages.
  • Manage the deployment of new software and hardware systems.
  • Maintain accurate records of assets and equipment.
  • Collaborate with the Cybersecurity team to ensure network assets are secure.
  • Update the problem management database in accordance with established service levels.
  • Conduct thorough analysis of technical issues and develop effective solutions.
  • Utilize a knowledge base to facilitate troubleshooting efforts.
  • Assist in the deployment of desktop PCs and peripherals.
  • Provide onboarding support for new employees, including computer orientation.
  • Respond to voice mail and email in a timely manner.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry developments and advancements.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in Desktop and/or Helpdesk support.
  • Strong working knowledge of standard desktop software (Microsoft Office, Windows).
  • Fluent in English; additional languages an asset.
  • Experience working with international clients highly valued.
  • Proficient knowledge of Microsoft office; SAP knowledge an asset.
