We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Marine Draftsman to contribute to the success of our projects. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in transforming engineering designs into precise, detailed technical drawings for marine and offshore projects.

About the Job:

  • Collaborate closely with engineers and designers to create accurate 2D technical drawings that meet project specifications.
  • Prepare comprehensive drawings for ships, offshore platforms, structural layouts, systems arrangements, and fabrication details that adhere to industry standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Revise and update existing drawings based on design changes, ensuring all revisions are thoroughly reviewed and approved.
  • Engage directly with clients to clarify drawing requirements and specifications, providing exceptional client service and support.
  • Ensure all drawings comply with industry standards, regulatory requirements, and project-specific details, maintaining the highest level of accuracy and attention to detail.

Key Requirements:

  • Diploma or relevant certificate in Marine Drafting, Technical Drawing, or related fields.
  • 5+ years of experience in marine/offshore drafting, with expertise in AutoCAD or equivalent drafting software.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of ship structures, offshore platforms, floating assets, and related terminology, with the ability to interpret engineering drawings, calculations, and specifications accurately.
  • Meticulous attention to detail and accuracy, with strong organizational skills and the ability to work independently.
  • Enthusiastic, proactive, and adaptable in a dynamic environment, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
