Job description:

Junior Planning Engineer – Marine (Shipyard)

Location: Kochi

Experience: 1 – 2+ years (Shipyard experience mandatory)

Salary Range: ₹15,000 – ₹25,000 per month

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in planning, scheduling, and monitoring shipbuilding and ship repair projects.
  • Prepare work breakdown structures, manpower planning, and progress tracking.
  • Coordinate with production, design, and procurement teams to ensure smooth project execution.
  • Prepare project reports, timelines, and daily/weekly status updates.
  • Ensure compliance with project specifications, deadlines, and quality standards.
  • Support cost estimation and resource allocation for ongoing and upcoming projects.
  • Work on AutoCAD drawings for planning and project execution.

Requirements:

  • Mandatory shipyard experience in both ship repairing and new shipbuilding projects.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD (essential).
  • Engineering background (Mechanical / Marine preferred).
  • Strong project coordination and planning skills.
  • Excellent communication and team collaboration abilities.
