Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for a Shipyard Engineer experienced in hull fabrication & Erection, based in Kochi. The Shipyard Engineer will be responsible for overseeing mechanical construction and shipbuilding projects, ensuring that all activities are carried out efficiently and effectively. Day-to-day tasks include project planning, coordination, and supervision, as well as quality control and compliance with safety and environmental regulations. The role also involves collaborating with project managers, designers, and other engineers to ensure successful project execution.
Minimum Hands on Experience 6 Year's+
Qualifications
- Experience in Mechanical Construction and Shipbuilding
- Hull Fabrication & erection
- Project Planning, Coordination, and Supervision skills
- Knowledge of Safety and Environmental Regulations
- Quality Control and Compliance skills
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Naval Architecture, or related field
- Prior experience in the construction or shipbuilding industry is a plus
