Job Overview

The IT Service Supervisor plays a pivotal role in the success of our organization, overseeing daily operations and ensuring seamless support services.

This leadership position requires a strong technical background, excellent communication skills, and the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.

The ideal candidate will possess advanced knowledge of networking and personal computer hardware, as well as experience with Windows 10 management technologies and Microsoft Office 365.

Additionally, they should have expertise in operating systems, including MAC operating systems, and proficiency in accounting applications such as CCH Engagement and Thomson GoSystem Tax.

Responsibilities include:

  • Operational Management:
    • Ensure efficient operation of subordinate team members
    • Maintain service level agreements for IT services team
    • Document policies and procedures related to all service and support efforts
    • Design and implement future support offerings and modalities
    • Ensure compliance of IT-related policies and procedures throughout IT Services Team
    • Prioritize both IT projects and day-to-day operations
  • Strategy & Planning:
    • Contribute to strategic technology planning and direction of projects
    • Stay up to date with key service development/issues within technology and accounting industry and implement new methods or technologies
  • Leadership:
    • Provide direction and support to service team
    • Coach team members to grow professionally
    • Identify and delegate areas of responsibility to team members
    • Select and assign staff based on work quality and ability to meet deadlines
    • Evaluate and verify Team Member performance through review of completed work assignments
Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or related field required

Minimum 7-10 years hands-on service experience necessary

CISA certification preferred but not essential

Proven execution/completion of technology projects

Experience with Windows 10 management technologies

Proficiency with operating systems, including Windows 10 and MAC operating systems

A+ and/or MOS certification beneficial

Advanced knowledge of accounting applications, such as CCH Engagement and Thomson GoSystem Tax

Ability to lift 50 lbs, if necessary
