Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Accounts Payable Specialist to join our team in Jaipur. As a key member of our AP function, you will be responsible for coordinating the accounts payable process and assisting associates in identifying and implementing improvements.

Responsibilities
  • Process Purchase Orders, Non-Purchase Orders (FI), and eInvoices according to established procedures.
  • Reconcile processed work by verifying entries and comparing system reports.
  • Charge expenses to accounts and cost centers by analyzing invoice/expense reports and recording entries.
  • Plan production on a daily basis and allocate inflow volumes to respective team members.
  • Paying vendors by monitoring contract/PO terms, discount, scheduling, and preparing checks/Fund Transfer Orders, resolving purchase order, contract, invoice, or payment discrepancies, and documentation; ensuring credit is received for outstanding memos, issuing stop-payments or purchase order amendments.
  • Process travel and expense reports of employees by receiving and verifying expense reports for advances and receipts.
  • Good knowledge of Excel reports like Pivot tables, formulas, formatting, and cleansing data.
  • Resolving queries like wrong postings, reversals, and corrections.
  • Support team members in processing corrections by clarifying their doubts and confusions.
  • Ensure SOPs are reviewed frequently and the latest updates are incorporated post-client signoff.
  • Maintain 100% accuracy of invoice processing and monthly reports.
  • Report taxes while processing region-specific invoices as per the requirement.
Requirements
  • University graduate in any discipline.
  • Bachelor/Master of Commerce or Business Administration preferred.
  • Relevant work experience in AP preferably in the Oil and Gas industry.
  • Sound knowledge of written and spoken English.
  • Practical knowledge of SAP and Reporting and Service Now preferred.
  • Understanding of Source to Pay process is a plus.
  • Excellent time management and planning skills.
  • Attention to detail, good analytical, and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Drive to achieve results and deliver on goals.
