We're seeking a skilled Maintenance Engineer to join our team. In this challenging role, you'll play a pivotal part in ensuring the smooth operation of our forging machinery.

In this critical position, you'll be responsible for providing expert maintenance and repair services for our range of forging equipment. You'll work closely with our production team to identify potential issues before they become major problems, using your technical knowledge to optimize machine performance and minimize downtime.

Your key objectives will include:

  • Maintaining and repairing complex forging machinery, including hydraulic presses, induction & gas furnaces, trimming machines, conveyors, and shot blasting machines.
  • Conducting regular preventive and predictive maintenance activities to prevent equipment failures.
  • Diagnosing and resolving mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic issues efficiently and effectively.

You'll also be responsible for leading breakdown investigations and conducting root cause analysis to ensure that we address the underlying causes of equipment failures, rather than just treating the symptoms.

Required Skills and Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you'll need to have:

  • A strong background in mechanical engineering, with a focus on forging machinery and hydraulic systems.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues.
  • Proven experience in maintenance and repair, preferably in an industrial or manufacturing environment.
