Technical Integration Specialist

 

We are seeking a skilled Technical Integration Specialist to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who wants to leverage their skills in API-led integration and make a meaningful contribution to the success of our organization.

 

  • As a Technical Integration Specialist, you will be responsible for designing and developing APIs, integrations, and data flows using MuleSoft Anypoint Platform.
  • You will translate business requirements into integration solutions, ensuring scalability, security, and maintainability.
  • Implementing API-led connectivity following MuleSoft best practices is also part of your responsibilities.
  • You will create technical documentation, API specifications (RAML/OAS), and deployment guides.
  • Conduct unit testing, debugging, and performance optimisation.
  • Collaborate with Salesforce teams to ensure seamless data and process integration.
  • Support deployments and environment management (CloudHub, Runtime Fabric, or on-prem).
  • Provide technical guidance to junior developers and contribute to knowledge-sharing.

 

Requirements
  • Experience as a Salesforce Consultant with knowledge across multiple Salesforce clouds (e.g. Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Data Cloud) is required.
  • At least 3 years dedicated to MuleSoft development and systems integration.
  • Hands-on expertise with MuleSoft Anypoint Studio, Anypoint Exchange, API Designer, and API Manager.
  • Strong understanding of API-led architecture and Enterprise Integration Patterns.
  • Proven experience building RESTful and SOAP APIs, including API security and governance.
  • Proficiency in DataWeave transformations and Mule 4 development.
  • Knowledge of common integration protocols (HTTP, JMS, FTP/SFTP, JDBC) and cloud connectors.
  • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, Azure DevOps) and version control (Git).
  • Experience with CloudHub deployments and monitoring tools.
  • Solid understanding of security patterns (OAuth 2.0, JWT, TLS).
  • Excellent communication skills to enable effective working with UK stakeholders in a remote team setup.
