Senior Pega Specialist

We are seeking a skilled and solutions-driven professional to support and maintain the stability and performance of Pega applications.

This role demands a deep understanding of the Pega Platform, deployment mechanisms, and associated technologies. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing deployment pipelines, resolving complex technical issues, and ensuring optimal system health through proactive monitoring and continuous improvement.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Configure and manage deployment pipelines using Pega's Deployment Manager.
  • Investigate and resolve intricate technical challenges within Pega applications, encompassing workflows, integrations, and architecture.
  • Respond promptly to critical incidents, including participation in on-call rotations for high-priority issues.
  • Analyze root causes and implement preventive measures to mitigate recurrence.
  • Troubleshoot and debug problems in the Pega environment, mitigating risks and conflicts.
  • Monitor application performance and optimize resource utilization using tools such as Dynatrace, Pega Diagnostic Center, Soap UI, and Admin Studio.
  • Suggest process enhancements and contribute to system and support documentation.

Key Qualifications:

  • A seasoned expert in the Pega Platform, including architecture, rules, data models, and deployment mechanisms.
  • Experienced in utilizing Pega's Deployment Manager for application deployments.
  • Familiar with database concepts and tools such as DBeaver and Cassandra.
  • Knowledgeable in web technologies including HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
  • Skilful in using monitoring tools to identify gaps and ensure alerting capabilities.
