Job Summary:

The MES Senior Software Development Manager would lead the software development and configuration in Manufacturing Execution System (MES) projects. This role requires a strong technical background in software development, as well as excellent leadership and communication skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the detail design, implementation, and test of MES solutions for MES projects based on Emerson MES platform- Syncade as per standard methodologies.
  • Design, implement, and test a full stack of Syncade MES technologies (using C#, MVC, SQL, VB Script, and others) for Lifesciences projects.
  • Engage with project collaborators, customers/users, conduct workshops to gather and analyze requirements, define functional requirements, and review software solutions.
  • Work with Solution Architects/SMEs to ensure that functional design and development aligns with user requirements, solution, and guidelines and standards.
  • Develop web parts, batch reports, and integration with L, L, and L systems (ERP integrations- Oracle EBS, SAP, LIMS, CMMS, etc).
  • Create and maintain required documentation for the project execution.
  • Proactively manage communications within the team.
  • Plan and organize the work of a project team and report progress status.
  • Identify, support to manage, and ensure prompt resolution of issues and removing roadblocks.

Requirements:

  • Minimum years of demonstrable experience in software development.
  • Full-life cycle implementation acting in key functional roles such as lead of an IT project. Experience in agile methodologies and JIRA/Azure, etc.
  • Ability to lead a team.
  • Skills- C#, WCF, C, MVC, jQuery, JavaScript, CSS, Web Services response and requests, XML, UML, XSLT, Database: MS SQL Server, Tools: Visual Studio, VB editor, SQL profiler, SOAP UI tool, Project tracking tools- TFS/JIRA, etc.
  • Ability to learn new concepts and approaches.
  • Persistence, self-motivation, follow-through, and commitment.
  • Great teammate who builds and maintains positive team member relations.
  • Possess strong analytical skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor of Engineering Computers/Electronics/Instrumentation from a reputed university.
  • MSC Computers from a reputed university or Master's or equivalent experience in Computer Applications (MCA).
  • Years of proven work experience and having worked as Software developer with experience as Software Lead.
  • Experience in MES (Syncade/Werum PASX/Rockwell Pharma Suite/Opcenter/Camstar, etc.), Life Sciences industry is a plus but not required.
  • Able to travel in India at customer sites and globally as needed.
