Job Description

As a seasoned professional in ServiceNow development, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the IT service management landscape.

Key responsibilities include implementing and optimizing Incident, Problem, Change, and Service Request Management workflows to align with business requirements. Additionally, you will configure and update Discovery schedules, monitor daily runs for errors, and troubleshoot issues to ensure reliable CI identification and population.

Enhancing Discovery probes and patterns to support complex infrastructure and cloud environments is also a key aspect of this role. Furthermore, you will continuously improve the ServiceNow platform through iterative enhancements, user feedback incorporation, and performance tuning.

Customizing form layouts, fields, and user interfaces to support data consistency and usability across modules is crucial. Tailoring and extending CAB Workbench functionality to support automated workflows and board operations is also essential.

Developing and maintaining robust REST/SOAP API integrations with external systems, managing Scheduled Jobs, Script Includes, Business Rules, and automation scripts for operational efficiency are further responsibilities. Customizing the Employee Center portal to improve branding, content delivery, and user engagement, as well as designing and publishing reports and dashboards to support performance tracking and operational transparency, are also critical tasks.

Required Skills and Qualifications

A bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field is required. Relevant ServiceNow training in ITSM, Discovery, and scripting modules is also necessary. A minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience in ServiceNow development, along with a proven track record with ServiceNow ITSM modules and Discovery implementation, is essential.

Experience with form customization, API integration, and dashboard/report creation is highly desirable. Demonstrated experience in troubleshooting platform issues and scripting errors is also a must.
