Database Expert Sought

We are seeking a highly skilled Database Expert to join our team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform MySQL upgrades, patches and migrations from MySQL to MariaDB and vice versa.
  • Configure and troubleshoot MySQL Enterprise Monitor (MEM), Oracle Enterprise Monitor (OEM) and InnoDB Cluster.
  • Manage MySQL Enterprise backups, logical backups and encryption.
  • Collaborate with the team to develop high-performance database functionalities and resolve performance issues.
  • Provide solutions and troubleshoot issues on public cloud platforms (AWS/Azure).

Desirable Skills:

  • MariaDB and NoSQL database knowledge.
  • Data management expertise, including permissions, recovery, security and monitoring.
  • User and space management, shell scripting and close coordination with clients and project teams.
