**Job Overview**

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Database Administrator to join our team.

The successful candidate will be responsible for the day-to-day administration of our Oracle database, ensuring its optimal performance, security, and reliability.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Database Administration: Install, configure, and upgrade Oracle database software to ensure smooth database operations.
  • Security: Implement and maintain robust database security measures to protect sensitive data and ensure regulatory compliance.
  • Performance Optimization: Identify and resolve bottlenecks, tune SQL queries, and configure database parameters to optimize database performance.
  • Troubleshooting: Troubleshoot complex database issues, including performance problems, data corruption, and system failures.
  • Backup and Recovery: Develop and implement backup and recovery strategies using RMAN to ensure business continuity and minimize data loss.

Requirements:

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field with a strong foundation in database concepts and administration.
  • Experience: Experience with Oracle database administration, including installation, configuration, and maintenance.
  • Knowledge: Understanding of Oracle database architecture, including datafiles, control files, redo logs, and undo management.

Desirable Skills:

  • Familiarity with Oracle database concepts, including SQL and PL/SQL.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to diagnose and resolve complex database issues.
