Lead IPO Execution

The Merchant Banking Head will oversee the end-to-end execution of Initial Public Offerings (IPOs), encompassing due diligence, documentation, regulatory filings, marketing, and listing.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Coordinate with internal teams (origination, compliance, research, sales) and external advisors (lawyers, auditors, registrars, etc.) to ensure seamless collaboration and timely completion of tasks.
  • Manage the preparation and submission of offer documents- DRHP, RHP, and related filings with SEBI, stock exchanges, and ROC in a prompt and efficient manner.
  • Stay updated with SEBI, MCA, and stock exchange regulations related to IPOs and public offerings to maintain a high level of accuracy and professionalism.
  • Handle regulatory queries, observations, and approvals with precision and diplomacy.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for clients throughout the IPO process, providing guidance and support as needed.
  • Foster strong relationships with promoters, board members, and senior employees of client companies to build trust and facilitate effective communication.
  • Assist in planning investor roadshows, analyst meets, and IPO marketing strategies for domestic and international markets.
  • Liaise with research and sales teams to ensure compelling messaging is conveyed to institutional and retail investors.
  • Ensure accurate and timely reporting of all material data and facts.
  • Liaison with third-party consultants, exchanges, and regulators to resolve any issues or concerns efficiently.

Required competencies include:

  • Established industry connections, including regulators and other authorities.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills to build and maintain strong relationships.
  • Expertise in Issue Management, with a deep understanding of IPO processes and procedures.
