Job Opportunity: Coastal Modeller

We are seeking a skilled and experienced coastal modeller to support our projects in this area of expertise. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in hydrodynamic modelling, specifically with Delft 3D and TELEMAC systems.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute hydrodynamic models for coastal management and development.
  • Analyse and interpret model results to provide insights and recommendations.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams on complex coastal issues.
  • Stay up-to-date with advancements in coastal modelling techniques and technologies.

Essential Qualifications:

  • At least three years of relevant work experience in coastal modelling.
  • Proficiency in hydrodynamic modelling using Delft 3D and TELEMAC 2D and 3D.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • A degree in Coastal Engineering or Oceanography.

Desirable Skills:

  • Experience with additional modelling software related to coastal processes such as Mike 21, ARTEMIS or TOMOWAC.
  • Knowledge of sediment and thermal plume modelling and oil spill modelling.
  • Familiarity with relevant regulations and environmental impact assessments.
