Job Summary:

We are looking for an experienced Coastal Modeler with a strong background in hydrodynamic modelling to support our coastal projects. The ideal candidate shall have a proven track record in coastal modelling, specifically with Delft 3D and TELEMAC systems, and will play a crucial role in our ongoing and upcoming projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute hydrodynamic models.
  • Analyze and interpret model results, providing insights and recommendations for coastal management and development.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, including costal and structure engineers, to address complex coastal issues.
  • Stay current with advancements in coastal modelling techniques and technologies.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 3 years of related work experience in coastal modelling.
  • Proficient in hydrodynamic modelling using Delft 3D and TELEMAC 2D and 3D.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
  • Degree in Coastal Engineering or Oceanography

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience with additional modelling software and tools related to coastal processes such as Mike 21, ARTEMIS or TOMOWAC.
  • Knowledge of sediment and thermal plume modelling and oil spill modelling.
  • Familiarity with relevant regulations and environmental impact assessments.
