Job Description:

The IMS DB Application Database Administrator is responsible for managing and optimizing IMS databases to support enterprise applications effectively.

This role ensures the availability, integrity, and security of critical data used by enterprise applications. It plays a crucial part in delivering business value through efficient database management and performance optimization.

To achieve this, the IMS DB Application Database Administrator will design and implement IMS databases that meet enterprise application requirements.

They will maintain and tune database performance to ensure optimal execution and minimize bottlenecks.

Additionally, they will ensure data availability and integrity by implementing robust backup and recovery strategies.

Moreover, they will manage database security protocols to safeguard sensitive data from unauthorized access.

Responsibilities
