Job Title: Oracle DBA & MySQL Database Specialist
We are seeking an experienced professional to lead our database strategy and implementation. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Oracle and MySQL database administration.
Key Responsibilities:- Design, implement, and maintain high-performance Oracle databases to drive business growth and scalability
- Manage MySQL databases for optimal performance, reliability, and security
- Optimize database performance through indexing, caching, and query tuning to improve efficiency and reduce costs
- Develop and implement comprehensive backup and recovery strategies to ensure data integrity and minimize downtime
- Migrate databases to new hardware or software platforms to leverage emerging technologies and improve agility
- 5-8 years of experience in Oracle and MySQL database administration with a proven track record of delivering high-quality results
- Strong understanding of data modeling, normalization, and indexing principles to design efficient and scalable databases
- Experience with Cassandra, MongoDB, and PostgreSQL is highly desirable but not mandatory
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail to troubleshoot complex technical issues and deliver solutions quickly
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities while maintaining a customer-centric approach
