Cloud Migration Leader

We are seeking an experienced Oracle Database Administration (DBA) Cloud Migration Leader to drive our cloud migration efforts. The successful candidate will have strong hands-on experience in Oracle Exadata and Oracle Exadata Cloud@Customer (ExaCC) environments, including backup/recovery, replication, and monitoring.

The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of managing large-scale Oracle migrations in multi-cloud, Exadata, and ExaCC environments. Strong leadership and project management skills are essential to ensure successful migrations, minimal downtime, and seamless delivery across all phases of the program.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead end-to-end migration lifecycle across assessment, planning, execution, validation, and post-migration optimization
  • Define and drive migration strategy, methodologies, and best practices
  • Plan, design, and execute Oracle database migrations across various platforms
  • Perform end-to-end database backup and recovery using Rubrik and RMAN
  • Implement delta data synchronization strategies for near-zero downtime migration
  • Use Oracle Enterprise Manager for database performance monitoring, health checks, and proactive alerting
  • Document migration runbooks, rollback procedures, and knowledge transfer

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • 12+ years of Oracle Database experience with 5+ years in leadership/managerial roles
  • Proven track record of managing large-scale Oracle migrations in multi-cloud environments
  • Strong experience with Oracle Exadata administration, migration, and performance tuning
  • Experience with cloud-native database solutions in AWS and Azure
  • Excellent communication, documentation, and stakeholder management capabilities
