Functional Consultant Lead

This is a dynamic and challenging role that requires an individual with strong technical expertise in Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS) Financials and Oracle Revenue Management & Billing (ORMB).

  • Key Responsibilities:

The Functional Consultant Lead will be responsible for acting as a Subject Matter Expert on Oracle EBS Financials and ORMB, possessing hands-on experience with Oracle E-Business Suite Release 12, with a strong knowledge of Revenue Management and Billing functionalities, configuration, and testing.

A solid understanding of the ORMB data model is essential, as well as configuring Oracle EBS Modules (GL, AP, AR, FA, CM) and Oracle RMB (Billing, Contracts, Pricing, Rating, Invoicing) as per business needs.

Additionally, the Functional Consultant Lead will participate in Oracle EBS to Cloud migration or upgrade initiatives, drive issue resolution and root cause analysis across P2P and O2C business cycles, diagnose and resolve complex application issues, work with clients, other IT departments, and suppliers as appropriate, and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

  • Required Skills and Qualifications:

To excel in this role, the candidate should possess the following skills and qualifications:

  • 10+ years of functional consulting experience in Oracle EBS Financials and Oracle Revenue Management & Billing (ORMB)
  • Strong understanding on Revenue Recognition principles (ASC 606, IFRS 15) and Oracle Financials Accounting Hub (FAH)
  • Supporting experience for the revenue recognition Process, billing process, including generating invoices, resolving billing/Revenue Management issues, and ensuring accurate revenue recognition
  • Proficient in end-to-end business cycles including P2P and O2C Cycle
  • Skilled in preparing BR100, MD50, TE40 and functional test scripts
  • Solid understanding of US GAAP or international accounting standards
  • Hands on experience with integration tools and middleware (preferred)
  • Experience with Oracle 12.2 Upgrades
  • Demonstrated ability to work with distributed teams across multiple time-zones
