Supply Chain Specialist

Job Opportunity:

We are seeking a highly skilled Supply Chain Specialist with hands-on experience in procuring steel products, aluminum materials, and heavy machinery. The ideal candidate will possess relevant KSA experience and a strong understanding of local supplier markets.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Sourcing, evaluating, and negotiating with suppliers for steel products, aluminum, and heavy industrial equipment.
  • Preparing and issuing RFQs, purchase orders, and tracking deliveries as per production timelines.
  • Reviewing technical specifications to ensure materials comply with project and quality standards.
  • Maintaining strong relationships with vendors and monitoring their performance for quality, pricing, and reliability.
  • Collaborating with internal departments such as engineering, production, and finance for smooth procurement operations.
  • Ensuring proper documentation and compliance with Saudi procurement laws and company policies.
  • Supporting inventory control and optimizing cost efficiency in procurement processes.
  • Staying informed about market trends and material price fluctuations.

Required Skills:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering (B.Tech / B.E.).
  • 2–4 years of procurement experience in KSA, preferably in the manufacturing or industrial sector.
  • Solid knowledge of steel, aluminum, and machinery components.
  • Experience working with local and international vendors.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, etc.).
  • Strong negotiation, analytical, and communication skills.
  • Transferable Iqama preferred (for non-Saudi nationals).
