
Studio Operations Strategist

The Studio Operations Manager will oversee the efficient running of in-house studio operations.
- Manage daily catalog shoots and track tasks to ensure targets are met.
- Identify bottlenecks and implement solutions to improve turnaround times.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan, schedule, and manage daily catalog shoots in alignment with business priorities.
- Track daily tasks and output of the studio team.
- Monitor studio throughput and identify areas for improvement.
Team Leadership & Coordination:
- Lead and manage the studio photography team and post-production editing team.
- Allocate tasks, monitor progress, and ensure smooth handoffs between production and post-production.
- Foster a collaborative work atmosphere within the studio.
Vendor Management:
- Manage relationships with post-production vendors, production houses, agencies, and freelance talent.
- Negotiate contracts, track deliverables, and ensure vendors meet deadlines and quality benchmarks.
- Maintain a database of vetted vendors and periodically assess performance.
Process Setup & Improvement:
- Establish standard operating procedures (SOPs) for pre-production, shoot execution, post-production, and final asset delivery.
- Implement efficient workflows to reduce shoot-to-upload time for e-commerce assets.
- Maintain protocols for file naming, storage, backups, and archiving.
Quality Control:
- Conduct on-set checks for brand consistency in photography and styling.
- Oversee post-production quality control - retouching, color correction, and final output approvals.
- Ensure all content adheres to brand guidelines and legal requirements.
Budget & Resource Management:
- Manage studio resources and optimize usage for both in-house and outsourced work.
Reporting & Communication:
- Share weekly production and post-production status reports.
- Flag risks and delays early, with proposed corrective actions.
