Strategic Programs Assistant

Mashreq Global Network, a distributed operations platform across India, Pakistan, and Egypt, underpins the bank's global service delivery strategy.

  • This role is positioned within the MGN India team in supporting the Country head on delivering strategic program agenda, managing initiatives, and reporting across cross-functional collaboration.
  • The assistant will support key strategic projects and governance, working closely with senior stakeholders. Additionally, the role will act as an enabler for employee-centric initiatives, ensuring alignment with operational goals and regulatory requirements.
Key Result AreasProgram Management and Governance
  • Align key projects to MGN's strategic roadmap by translating goals into actionable programs and outcomes, and report progress, risks, and benefits to senior leadership.
  • Support the MGN India Country Head in delivering strategic outcomes by defining program KPIs/SLAs, tracking governance forum actions, and maintaining central program documentation repository.
  • Develop a program management framework that includes planning, monitoring, controlling, and closing phases of projects.
CSS & Employee Engagement
  • Anchor CSR governance, stakeholder communication, and community impact reporting across MGN locations.
  • Partner with NGOs and internal CSR committees to evaluate, track, and present CSR initiatives, including funding proposals, volunteering drives, and employee participation metrics.
  • Work closely with communications teams to articulate the impact of CSR initiatives and promote engagement.
  • Organize townhalls, roundtables, and campaigns that showcase community impact and enhance employee pride in social contribution.
Reporting and Communication
  • Design and manage dashboards, trackers, and reporting packs for project reviews and governance meetings.
  • Create high-quality presentations and visual content to support internal and external communications.
  • Evaluate and enhance tools and templates to streamline workflows and improve governance visibility.
Knowledge, Skills and Experience
  • Bachelor's Degree related to Business Administration or Operations.
  • 8+ years' total experience in program/project management or governance roles in financial services or regulated environments.
  • Understanding of Project Management function, documentation standards, and project lifecycle would be beneficial.
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office suite - specifically Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Strong knowledge around efficient use of project tools, such as MS Project and excel-based project trackers.
