Technical Staff Member - Software Engineer

">About the Role

We are seeking an experienced software engineer to join our team as a technical staff member. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining scalable backend services and developer tools using modern programming languages and frameworks.

You will collaborate with senior engineers to understand system architecture and contribute to component-level design decisions. Additionally, you will participate in sprint planning, backlog grooming, and technical discussions to shape product direction.

">Key Responsibilities
  • Design and Development: Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services and developer tools using modern programming languages and frameworks.
  • Collaboration: Collaborate with senior engineers to understand system architecture and contribute to component-level design decisions.
  • Product Direction: Participate in sprint planning, backlog grooming, and technical discussions to shape product direction.
Code Quality & Engineering Best Practices
  • Code Quality: Write clean, maintainable, and well-tested code that adheres to team standards and best practices.
  • Peer Code Reviews: Participate in peer code reviews, both giving and receiving constructive feedback to improve code quality.
  • Internal Libraries: Contribute to the development of internal libraries and reusable components that improve consistency and efficiency.
AI Tooling & Developer Experience
  • AI Integration: Support the integration of AI capabilities into internal developer tools and workflows.
  • Feature Implementation: Assist in implementing features for the Model Context Protocol (MCP) and multi-agent orchestration systems.
  • Prompt Engineering: Contribute to prompt engineering efforts and help define usage patterns for AI-assisted development tools.
Qualifications & Skills
  • Degree: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Programming Skills: Strong programming skills in one or more languages such as Python, Java, or TypeScript, JavaScript.
  • Software Engineering Fundamentals: Solid understanding of software engineering fundamentals including data structures, algorithms, and object-oriented design.
  • Version Control Systems: Familiarity with version control systems, DevSecOps practices, and agile development.
