Job Description:

The Role of Operational Risk Management (ORM) is pivotal in safeguarding the operational integrity of organizations. As an ORM Specialist, you will be responsible for overseeing and implementing effective risk management strategies to prevent operational risks from materializing.

This role demands a high level of analytical skill, business acumen, and technical expertise. You must possess the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously, prioritize effectively, and communicate complex ideas to diverse stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement robust risk management frameworks that align with organizational goals.
  • Develop and maintain comprehensive risk assessments, identifying potential vulnerabilities and developing mitigation strategies.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of risk management practices across the organization.
  • Provide expert guidance on risk-related matters, ensuring alignment with regulatory requirements and industry standards.

Requirements:

  • 7+ years of experience in IT audit / ITGC controls testing / technical assessments, preferably in the areas of Cyber and Technology domains in a financial institution.
  • Strong understanding of operational risk management principles, regulations, and industry best practices.
  • Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to articulate complex issues to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Proven track record of successfully managing and mitigating operational risks, with a strong focus on process improvement and efficiency.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Professional certifications such as ISO 27001, CISA, or CRISC would be beneficial.
  • Experience with risk management software and tools, such as risk assessment platforms or control monitoring systems.
  • Knowledge of industry-specific regulations, such as SOX, GDPR, or PCI-DSS.
