Parking Operations Manager Job Overview

The Parking Operations Manager plays a pivotal role in overseeing the comprehensive operations of airport parking and associated commercial activities. This responsibility involves collaborating seamlessly with internal departments, external vendors, and stakeholders to ensure unbroken functioning, efficient revenue management, adherence to regulatory requirements, and an exceptional customer experience.

This demanding position necessitates a seasoned professional with extensive expertise in managing parking operations within large-scale infrastructure environments.

Operational Management

The Parking Operations Manager is responsible for:

  • Managing daily parking operations across all zones (P1–P7, EV stations, PRM slots, etc.)
  • Ensuring smooth traffic flow, queue management, and system uptime (e.g., maintaining hygiene, signage, and infrastructure standards)
  • Ensuring timely updates and compliance from vendor SPOCs
  • Overseeing parking fee collection, cash counter audits, and reconciliation
  • Ensuring accurate billing, invoicing, and reporting to Commercial & finance teams

Compliance & Audit

The Parking Operations Manager ensures adherence to:

  • Safety protocols
  • Regulatory requirements
  • Operational protocols
  • Maintaining logs for incident reports (e.g., civil/electrical work, and system failures)

CUSTOMER EXPERIENCE & SOCIAL MEDIA

The Parking Operations Manager is responsible for:

  • Monitoring guest experience across landside areas and parking zones
  • Coordinating with social media teams for promotions updates, alerts, and feedback

Requirements and Qualifications

To excel in this role, candidates must possess:

  • A minimum of 7-10 years of experience in parking operations within large infrastructure setups (e.g., airports, malls, transport hubs)
  • Proven experience in multi-stakeholder coordination and vendor management
  • A strong understanding of parking systems, traffic flow, and commercial operations
  • Familiarity with audit processes, billing systems, and compliance standards
