Job Title

As a member of our LTE Customer Engineering group, you will be responsible for supporting Modem softwares protocols/features in the LTE area.

  • Key responsibilities include system level feature understanding with specialized knowledge in LTE Access Stratum protocol, issue log analysis, troubleshooting/analyzing problems and supporting customers with product commercialization.
  • You will work closely with a multi-discipline team to integrate and commercialize QCT products.

Job Description:

  1. We are seeking candidates with 2-6 years of excellent experience in one or more of the following areas: Strong understanding of RRC, RLC/MAC, Physical layers and Call Processing concepts in one or more of the following air interface standards LTE/LTE-A, NTN, LTE-Cat M, LTE-NB.
  2. Hands-on experience in analyzing and debugging device side logs is desired.
  3. Candidates should have solid understanding of digital communications systems, RF propagation, CDMA, OFDM, telecommunications concepts.
  4. Strong programming skills in C language, embedded SW development, Perl, shell scripting, etc are required.
  5. Exposure to mobile product commercialization is an advantage.
  6. The successful candidate must have strong communication skills, be an effective team player and able to work independently.

Minimum Qualifications:

  1. Bachelors degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field and 3+ years of Software Applications Engineering, Software Development experience, or related work experience.
  2. OR
  3. Masters degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field and 2+ years of Software Applications Engineering, Software Development experience, or related work experience.
  4. OR
  5. PhD in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field and 1+ year of Software Applications Engineering, Software Development experience, or related work experience.
  6. At least 1 year of any combination of academic and/or work experience with Programming Language such as C, C++, Java, Python, etc.
  7. At least 1 year of any combination of academic and/or work experience with debugging techniques.
