Technical Lead

We are seeking a seasoned Technical Lead to spearhead our development team. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for driving innovation and pushing boundaries to create industry-leading products.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Hire and mentor a team of high-calibre engineers with expertise in front-end and back-end technologies.
  • Design and develop new user-facing full-stack applications that meet the highest standards of quality and performance.
  • Build reusable components and libraries for future use, ensuring scalability and maintainability.
  • Optimize pages for maximum performance across various devices and browsers.
  • Optimize backend systems for high scale and ensure security, scalability, and performance.
  • Contribute to architecture, database design, and data modelling, leveraging your expertise to drive technical solutions.
  • Implement APIs and ensure security, scalability, and performance, meeting the needs of our customers.
  • Pursue practical experience in real-time implementation, staying ahead of the curve in emerging technologies.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field with 5-8.5 years of experience in software development, including at least 2 years as a Technical Lead.
  • Proficiency in NodeJS, ReactJS, PostgreSQL, Redis, AWS, Python, and Microservices, with deep understanding of core principles.
  • Deep understanding of at least one of React JS / Vue JS and its core principles, as well as NodeJS.
  • Experience with common front-end development tools such as Babel, webpack, and npm.
  • Familiarity with at least one code versioning tool such as Git, SVN, etc.
  • Good understanding of quality JavaScript code, object-oriented design patterns, and debugging complex issues.
  • Experience in building complex single-page applications with front-end and back-end, as well as production full-stack environment debugging and DevOps experience.
  • Familiarity with RESTful APIs, hands-on coding experience, and strong experience in API implementation, considering security, scalability, and performance.
  • Strong experience in database design and data modelling for both RDBMS and NoSQL-based databases, as well as Architecture & Design, NFRs, and ability to derive technical solutions based on functional requirements.
  • Experience in Data structures, algorithms, and Commands, with exposure to enterprise quality solution creation from scratch, considering technology fitment to the problem.

Desirable Qualifications:

  • Advanced knowledge of HTML5, CSS3, and responsive web development.
  • Experience with writing unit test cases with JS frameworks.
  • Experience with highly scalable applications and AWS.
