Power Electronics PCB Design Expert

  • We are seeking an experienced Senior PCB Designer to join our Power Electronics team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing robust, high-reliability printed circuit boards (PCBs) for power electronics applications.
  • The successful applicant will have expertise in designing complex, multi-layer PCBs including DC-DC converters, inverters, switch-mode power supplies (SMPS), and motor drives.
  • They will also be skilled in developing and maintaining schematic diagrams, PCB layouts, footprints, and libraries in Altium Designer.
Key Responsibilities
  • Design advanced PCB layouts for signal integrity, power integrity, thermal performance, and high-current handling.
  • Ensure compliance with electromagnetic interference (EMI)/electromagnetic compatibility (EMC) standards and integrate grounding, shielding, and filtering best practices.
  • Perform design rule check (DRC)/electrical rule check (ERC) checks and support design for manufacturability (DFM)/design for testability (DFT) processes.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Electronics/Electrical Engineering or a related field.
  • At least 7–10 years of hands-on PCB design experience, preferably in power electronics.
  • Advanced proficiency with Altium Designer, including schematic capture, layout, 3D modeling, and library management.
  • Strong understanding of EMI/EMC principles and practical implementation.
