Senior Printed Circuit Board Designer

Our ideal candidate for this senior role has a proven track record of successful production-level PCB designs in the market. They must possess strong debugging and problem-solving skills, as well as good knowledge of industrial PCB design tools and flow.

We are seeking a skilled Senior Printed Circuit Board Designer to join our team in building next-generation drone solutions. This individual will be responsible for designing multilayer PCB layouts up to 6-12 layers in mixed signal designs, with experience working on High-speed Mixed signals, HDI Boards, and BGAs with Blind and buried via techniques.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Design multilayer PCB layouts up to 6-12 layers in mixed signal designs.
  • Experience working on High-speed Mixed signals, HDI Boards, and BGAs with Blind and buried via techniques.
  • Knowledge of latest interfaces such as USB, Ethernet, CAN, and differential routing, Length matching routing, Impedance routing, etc.
  • Understanding of constraints and use of the constraint manager.
  • Experience in minimizing EMI/EMC problems.
  • Proficient in DFM & DFA Analysis, Gerber, and ODB++ Checking.
  • Experienced in IPC standards and schematic design entry in Allegro tool.
  • Strong skills in schematic and PCB layout reviews for internal and customer projects.
  • Ability to develop PCB vendors and coordinate for PCB manufacturing related issues.
  • Experience in board bring ups, debugging, and testing.
  • Preferred experience in UART, I2C, LCD, SPI, QSPI, CSI2, and CAN communication.
  • Ability to approve BOM and its releases.
  • Expertise in component selection for schematic designs.
  • Mentor junior engineers and participate in design/code reviews.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Proven track record of successful production level PCBs in the market.
  • Strong debugging and problem-solving skills.
  • Good knowledge on industrial PCB design tools and flow.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with version control (Git) and CI/CD workflows.
  • 10+ years of experience in Electronics and Communication engineering.
