Warehouse Operations Specialist

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Warehouse Management System specialist with hands-on experience in testing warehouse operations systems. The ideal candidate will possess deep functional knowledge of inbound and outbound processes, and demonstrate expertise in both manual testing and test case creation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Execute comprehensive testing of warehouse functionalities, focusing on inbound (receiving, putaway) and outbound (picking, packing, shipping) modules.
  • Develop, document, and maintain detailed test cases, test scripts, and test plans based on functional requirements and business processes.
  • Perform functional, regression, integration, and UAT testing across warehouse modules.
  • Identify, document, and track defects and inconsistencies using appropriate tools.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including developers, business analysts, and operations to ensure quality and timely delivery.
  • Validate system configurations and enhancements against business requirements.
  • Provide feedback and recommendations for system improvements and optimizations.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Proven experience testing warehouse management systems (WMS).
  • Strong understanding of warehouse operations and WMS workflows, especially inbound and outbound processes.
  • Proficiency in creating test cases and test documentation from scratch.
  • Familiarity with test management tools (e.g., JIRA, TestRail, HP ALM).
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
