Job Title: Test Engineering Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Test Engineering Specialist to develop and execute automated tests for software applications, ensuring high quality and reliability.

  • This role involves creating test cases, scripts, and suites using various tools and technologies such as Selenium, Cucumber, and TestNG.
  • The ideal candidate will have 5-8 years of experience in quality engineering, with strong programming skills in Java, Python, JavaScript, and other languages.
  • Proficiency in automation testing tools and methodologies is essential, including Page Object Design Pattern, Page Factory, and CI/CD pipelines.
  • Experience in creating UI Automation Frameworks and Test Suites is also desirable, as well as knowledge of API / Backend Automation Frameworks and Test Suites.
  • Cloud and CI/CD Experience - Knowledge of AWS, Azure, Docker & Kubernetes, Jenkins, and other cloud platforms is an advantage.
  • The successful candidate will be able to perform functional testing in different phases of the software development life cycle and in CI/CD projects.
  • They will also be proficient in creating/maintaining Test Beds and Test Docs, and have knowledge of software development, software design, and overall system architecture.
  • Leadership qualities and experience of leading a small team are also highly valued.
  • The Test Engineering Specialist will work on testing scalable web services (REST or SOAP) and APIs in a microservices architecture.
