Job Profile

We are seeking a Quality Assurance Specialist to fill this role.

In this position, you will be responsible for designing and developing automated tests to ensure the quality and reliability of software applications. You will work closely with development and QA teams to understand project requirements, identify test scenarios, and develop automation scripts.

  • Collaborate with the development and QA teams to comprehend project needs and determine appropriate test cases.
  • Develop and maintain automated test scripts using relevant tools and frameworks.
  • Execute automated test scripts to verify application functionality, performance, and dependability.
  • Identify and report defects via bug tracking tools, providing detailed information and steps to reproduce.
  • Perform regression testing to confirm that updates or changes do not introduce new issues.
  • Work with the development team to troubleshoot and resolve problems, providing clear and concise information about test results and defects.
  • Continuously improve and optimize automated test suites to enhance efficiency and coverage.
  • Participate in test plan and test case reviews, offering feedback and suggestions for improvements.
  • Collaborate with the QA team to establish and maintain test environments and data.

Required Skills:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering (CS, IT) or Post Graduate Degree in Computer Applications (MCA).
  • Proven experience of 4+ years as an Automation Tester or similar role.
  • Strong knowledge of software testing methodologies, processes, and best practices.
  • Proficiency in automation testing frameworks and tools such as Selenium WebDriver, Appium, or Cucumber.
  • Experience in designing and developing automation test scripts using programming languages (e.g., Java, Python, or JavaScript).
  • Solid understanding of test automation frameworks and their implementation.
  • Familiarity with version control systems and continuous integration/continuous delivery (CI/CD) pipelines.
  • Good analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and documentation skills to effectively communicate test results and issues to the development team.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and manage time effectively.
