This is a pivotal role for an experienced Database Specialist to provide daily support to the Technical and BA Teams on Markit EDM product as needed, including major initiatives and minor upgrades/fixes.

  • The successful candidate will offer assistance in generating reports and running SQL queries on the database, user creation, and configuration settings.">
  • They will develop and enhance applications written in SQL Server, write database stored procedures, triggers, and packages with good knowledge, and have a solid understanding of performance and tuning of SQL Server databases.">
  • Moreover, they will implement and document enhancements for other team members, business analysis, etc., to understand and support the product.">

Requirements:

">
  • ">
  • 1-3 years of experience implementing and supporting Markit EDM Product.">
  • 1-3 years of experience in database programming, specifically MS SQL Server.">
  • Experience in T/SQL, querying, triggers, and stored procedures.">
  • Knowledge of Windows, VB scripting, job scheduling systems like Autosys or Stonebranch.">
  • At least 2-3 years of overall industry experience working in Market Data / Reference Data space with exposure to data vendors like Bloomberg, Reuters, etc.">
  • Knowledge of vendor products like Bloomberg Data License or Reuters Datascope Equity is a plus.">
