Culinary Operations Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and organized individual to join our team as a Culinary Operations Coordinator.

About the Role:

The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting in the production of high-quality food items, maintaining accurate inventory levels, and ensuring seamless kitchen operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in preparing and packaging food items according to recipe guidelines and food safety standards
  • Manage inventory levels using First-In-First-Out (FIFO) system and barcode scanning
  • Operate and maintain kitchen equipment to ensure optimal performance
  • Perform sanitization tasks and mise-en techniques to maintain a clean and hygienic work environment
  • Follow recipe guidelines and planogram storage protocols to ensure efficient storage and retrieval of ingredients
  • Produce consistent quality items and manage bulk orders with precision
  • Monitor food quality and provide feedback to improve overall product excellence

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent culinary education preferred
  • At least 15 months of experience in a kitchen environment
  • Intermediate understanding of kitchen operations and inventory management principles
  • Proficiency in using barcode scanners and inventory management software
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
