Senior Data Architect

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Data Engineer to lead our end-to-end data migration project. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing efficient, scalable, and reliable ETL/ELT pipelines within our new Snowflake and dbt environment.

  • Migrate data warehousing and ETL processes from Teradata and Informatica to Snowflake and dbt.
  • Design and develop high-performance, cost-effective ETL/ELT pipelines in the new Snowflake and dbt environment.
  • Optimize existing Teradata SQL and Informatica workflows for performance and cost-efficiency on Snowflake.
  • Establish and enforce data quality, governance, and security standards within the new platform.
  • Collaborate with data architects, analysts, and business stakeholders to translate data requirements into robust technical solutions.
  • Develop best practices for data modeling, CI/CD, and version control using Git.
  • Mentor junior engineers and contribute to continuous improvement of the data engineering practice.

Job Requirements:

  • Proven experience with ETL/ELT pipeline design and development.
  • Strong understanding of data warehousing concepts and Snowflake architecture.
  • Proficient in scripting languages such as Python or SQL.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.
