Job Title Chief Operating Officer COO Department Operations Location Bellary Karnataka Reporting to Chief Executive Officer CEO MD Client Background Our client is a leading structural steel construction solutions provider in India with deep expertise in design engineering fabrication and erection Leveraging a highly skilled workforce and strong execution capabilities the company delivers complex engineering projects with precision speed and efficiency Education Experience Graduate or Postgraduate degree in Engineering Project Management or Manufacturing with a minimum of 20 years of experience including at least 8 years in a leadership role within a medium to large-sized organization Key Relationships Internal CEO Executive Team Operations and Services team External Role purpose To oversee and manage the day-to-day operations of an organization ensuring that the company s operational activities align with its strategic goals and objectives The COO reports to CEO and coordinate with the executive team to implement business strategies streamline processes and drive operational efficiency across all departments Key responsibilities and Deliverables Outcomes a Critical Competencies Required Knowledge Skill Attitude Strategic planning and execution Knowledge of contracting negotiating and change management Examining and re-engineering operations and procedures Formulating policy and developing and implementing new strategies and procedures Financial planning and managing resources Analyzing and interpreting financial data Knowledge of communication and public relation techniques Ability to motivate teams and simultaneously manage several projects b General Tasks Responsibilities Develop a strategic plan to advance the company s mission and objectives and to promote revenue profitability and growth as an organization Oversee company operations to ensure production efficiency quality service and cost-effective management of resources Promotes a culture that reflects the organization s values encourages good performance and rewards productivity Plan develop and implement strategies for generating resources and or revenues for the company Provides prompt thorough and accurate information to keep the board appropriately informed of the organization s financial position Evaluate performance of executives for compliance with established policies and objectives of the company and contributions in attaining objectives c Major Deliverables Key Result Areas Creates annual operating plans that support strategic direction set by the board and correlates with annual operating budgets Deliver objectives and target set by the board for short medium long term Input into this process P L Management Provide leadership to position the company at the forefront of the industry Develop strategic alliances within the industry to progress upstream downstream synergies and efficiencies Develop and monitor strategies for ensuring the long-term financial viability of the organization Building Organizational Culture Kindly also refer below questions and if you could also help your expertise on the same as its client requirement Volume of manufacturing handled in MT Which all departments reported to you Do you have exposure of manufacturing operational complexity exposure What exposure do you have on Contractor Management How many manpower handled in terms of plant operations Where all contractual or employees Can u please help with complexity of projects executed under your tenure of services in terms of manufacturing If they have worked on capacity enhancement or have worked to improve output tonnage if yes then what have you adopted strategies adopted what was the output in terms of P L Does you have greenfield or brownfield expansions exposure experience Request you to kindly address all the above pointers mentioned in your resume or cover letter for further proceeedings Job Type Full-time Pay 1 200 000 00 - 1 800 000 00 per year
