Business Manager Job Description

We are seeking a skilled professional to fill the role of Business Manager.

  • Assess and identify new business opportunities in current and prospective markets. Develop and maintain customer relationships by regular communication and offers.
  • In charge of buying and selling plastic resins including PP, PE, PET & PVC from local producers, distributors, and selling to existing and new customers.
  • Represent the company at meetings, conferences, and international tradeshows to promote trademarks and products.
  • Maintain and develop relationships with resin producers.
  • Support logistics, inventory management, and cargo allocations.
  • Conduct market research to gather information for price setting in specific markets.
  • Analyze market trends based on region, seasonality, and customer behavior.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in trading polymers in national and international markets.
  • Thorough understanding of the polymer market.
  • Able to travel for business purposes.
  • Familiarity with latest business policies and regulations.

Skills:

  • Demonstrable analytical thinking and business insight.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Outstanding leadership quality and negotiation skills.
  • Effective time and task management.
  • Ability to work independently under pressure.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Business Management, International Trade, or related fields. An MBA is preferred.
