About this role

We are seeking a highly skilled Business Finance Analyst to join our team. In this role, you will play a key part in driving business growth and optimizing costs across various functions.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Developing a deep understanding of the business and its consumers, categories, and other functions.
  • Conducting data-driven trend analysis for P&L and revenue metrics, with a focus on improving the shape of the P&L whale and highlighting key insights to leadership.
  • Day-to-day P&L management, including having a good relationship with business stakeholders to drive business and growth.
  • Creating processes for new initiatives and improving existing ones, focusing on governance and cost leakage.
  • Preparing, managing, and publishing business scorecards.
  • Stakeholder management and working closely with business teams.

Required skills and qualifications:

  • CA/MBA/B.Tech degree or equivalent.
  • Minimum 2-3 years of experience post-qualification.
  • Strong Excel/Google sheet skills and good business acumen.
  • Strong interpersonal and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to work with and influence cross-functional teams.
  • Proficient in financial modeling and PowerPoint skills.
  • Previous experience as a business finance partner is desired, with experience in a start-up/Retail environment being preferred.
