Job Title: Linguistic Services Professional

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Linguistic Services Professional to join our team. As a key member of our project teams, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality language-related tasks and services.

The successful candidate will possess excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, and be fluent in English with the ability to communicate effectively in a target language. You will work closely with clients to understand their terminology needs and manage style guides and reference materials.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver language-related tasks and services to meet client requirements
  • Communicate effectively with project teams and clients to resolve linguistic issues
  • Manage and suggest new terminology for clients' approval
  • Develop and maintain style guides and reference materials for clients
  • Perform other duties as required

Requirements:

  • University degree in Translation & Interpreting or equivalent experience
  • Fluent in English with good communication skills
  • Native speaker of targeted language
  • Basic familiarity with Microsoft Office 365 including Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Experience in localization/enterprise-oriented software an advantage
  • Knowledge of standard CAT and related translation/terminology management tools an advantage
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
  • Strong team player with excellent communication skills
  • Quick learner with a willingness to adapt to new technologies and processes
