Job Description

The Purchase Engineer role at the DCS Group involves formulating strategies and solving problems efficiently. Key responsibilities include negotiating and managing contracts with vendors and suppliers, developing and implementing purchasing policies and procedures, reviewing engineering drawings, and interviewing prospective suppliers. The ideal candidate will have a bachelor's degree in a related field, minimum 3+ years of experience in the construction industry, excellent negotiation and problem-solving skills, strong communication and organizational skills, and the ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively.

Responsibilities:
  • Formulate strategies and solve problems efficiently
  • Negotiate and manage contracts with vendors and suppliers
  • Develop and implement purchasing policies and procedures
  • Review engineering drawings and interview prospective suppliers
  • Manage inventory levels and reconcile stock discrepancies with suppliers


Requirements:

* Bachelor's degree in a related field such as supply chain management, procurement, or finance
* Minimum 3+ years of experience in the construction industry, arranging laborers and vendors, contractors, and materials
