The role of ERP Finance Consultant is a critical one within our organization.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Simulation of Closing Balances
    • Collaborate with the finance team to simulate financial closing balances for Australia, Korea, and India, ensuring accuracy in calculations.
    • Align simulations with actual figures once available and document methodologies used for future reference.
    • Verify currency conversions are accurate based on prevailing exchange rates, taking into account any fluctuations.
    • Promote closing balance reports in the D365 UAT environment and map balances between Sun Systems and D365.
  • Go-Live Support
    • Support the cutover process from Sun to D365, encompassing preparation and validation of closing balance migration files.
    • Contribute to D365 system readiness by uploading master data and templates, followed by post-cutover system validation.
    • Ensure go-live checklist completion and documentation, as well as providing support during the hypercare phase.
  • Q4 Data Retention
    • Evaluate the retention of Q4 financial data in Sun for audit purposes and communicate effectively with Infor for backup or data extraction.
    • Develop reconciliation methodology for partial data across Sun and D365, preparing comprehensive audit support documentation and exports.

Requirements:

  • A minimum of 3 years' experience in finance, accounting, or ERP-related roles.
  • Demonstrated expertise with Microsoft Dynamics 365 (Finance & Operations) and prior involvement in ERP migration projects, particularly those involving Sun Systems to D365.
  • A solid understanding of financial close processes, FX reconciliation, and system cutovers.
  • Proficiency working with multi-country financials, preferably including AU/KR/IN locations.
  • Excellent communication and documentation skills, along with the ability to work independently and coordinate with cross-functional teams.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • A degree in finance or an equivalent field.
  • Microsoft Dynamics 365 certification is a significant asset.
  • Experience with Infor/SunSystems is highly desirable.
