We are seeking a skilled Tool Administrator to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth functioning of our IT monitoring systems.

Job Description:

The successful candidate will have a strong background in IT monitoring and observability platforms, with at least 2+ years hands-on experience with ScienceLogic SL1.

  • Strong knowledge of SL1 architecture, collectors, and PowerPacks
  • Hands-on experience with SNMP, WMI, SSH, API-based data collection
  • Event policies and escalation rules
  • Dashboard/report creation in SL1
  • Integration experience with ServiceNow or similar ITSM tools
  • Expertise in tuning alerts and reducing noise
  • Familiarity with hybrid IT monitoring (On-prem, AWS, Azure, GCP)
  • Hands-on scripting experience (Python, PowerShell, Bash) for automation
  • Understanding of ITIL processes (Incident, Change, Problem)

Key Responsibilities:

• Tune alerts and reduce noise in IT monitoring systems

• Integrate tools like ServiceNow or similar ITSM tools

• Design and implement dashboards and reports in SL1

• Collaborate with teams to identify areas for improvement

• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices

Requirements:

• 3–5 years of experience in IT monitoring/observability platforms

• Strong knowledge of SL1 architecture, collectors, and PowerPacks

• Hands-on experience with ScienceLogic SL1

• Experience with integration tools like ServiceNow or similar ITSM tools

• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
